"Growing up, I used to countlessly sketch & design people, inanimate objects and pretty much anything until I started to pursue filmmaking. The Michael Lau collection reminds me of my past work. Imperfect, but that's the whole point. The place I chose to shoot in is Love Lake in Al Qudra. The place looks very dull yet beautiful. Contrasting it with contemporary street-wear, everything looks out of place just like the collection itself and that's why I liked it. From the design of the shoe box to the double-zipped 2Face jacket, I could relate it to my childhood and that's what inspires me." - Ali
